For Cisco’s CAAN (Connected Asian Affinity Network) Giving Tuesday in New York City, I partnered with the CAAN team to bring my Tiny Jars of Stars initiative to life in a meaningful way. I shared the story behind the project, how it began, why kindness matters, and the impact small gestures can make, and then taught participants how to fold origami stars and write handwritten messages to spread across the city. Together, we created a space for reflection and connection while also raising funds for I AM ALS, turning creativity and community into something truly impactful.
